In the IELTS Speaking test, your ability to express ideas and opinions is assessed across three sections: Part 1 (Introduction and Interview), Part 2 (Long Turn), and Part 3 (Discussion). Part 1: Introduction and Interview

- Question: What qualities do you think a good role model should have?
- Answer: A good role model should be honest, hardworking, and compassionate. They should be someone who inspires others to grow and achieve their best, and they should be a positive influence on those around them.
- Question: Has the Internet changed the way people choose their role models?
- Answer: Yes, the Internet has definitely changed how people find role models. With social media, people have access to public figures and influencers from all over the world, which allows them to follow and admire people they might not otherwise have known about.
- Question: Do you think celebrities make good role models?
- Answer: It depends on the celebrity. Some are very inspiring and work hard to set a good example, but others might not always behave responsibly. I think people should choose role models based on values rather than just fame.
Part 2: Long Turn
- Question: Describe a person you consider a role model. You should say:
- who the person is
- how you know about this person
- what qualities this person has
- and explain why this person is a role model for you.
- Answer: A person I consider a role model is Malala Yousafzai. I first learned about her story through an article online. Despite facing severe challenges, she continued to fight for education rights for girls. Her courage, resilience, and dedication to a cause bigger than herself make her truly inspiring to me. She reminds me that even one person can make a huge impact on the world.
